Friends Have Deserted Me! Even Bola Tinubu Is Not Comfortable Seeing Me Around – Baba Suwe

.

This is not a good time at all for Yoruba comic actor, Baba Suwe. Baba Suwe in a new interview  has confessed that he is broke and a lot of his friends and helpers have deserted him. He said his cocaine scandal ruined him and it is almost ruining his career as well. People no longer call me to act in their movies, he revealed. Read what he told the magazine after the cut. “I have not collected any compensation money from NDLEA yet. The most painful thing is that I was wrongly accused. Had it been, I actually committed the crime, I won’t mind, but they just punished me for nothing. I was in NDLEA custody for almost three weeks, and nothing was found on me. No matter the kind of juju one may have, I don’t think there is anybody that can conceal cocaine for even two days. Even researches had shown that no one can harbour the substance in the body for two days. It will burst inside the person’s stomach, which can lead to death. And I believe after all their investigations, they should have released me so I could continue with my career. But the whole situation, the way they treated me actually rubbished my image. My career has been dwindling. A lot of people that are supposed to be inviting me to take part in their movies abandoned me because of the incident. Even a lot of people that could have assisted me financially don’t want to associate with me again. People within and outside the industry has deserted me on account of the allegation. They still doubt me despite my victory in court. I have sung praises of some people in some of my movies, and I always appreciate whatever they give me. This makes a lot of people close to me. For instance, I was close to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu before and he was very nice to me. He had done a lot for me but now, it’s very difficult for me to be close to him. He is even not comfortable seeing me around him again because of the allegation. I don’t enjoy people’s love and admiration like before because people still believe that it was true

I Will Kiss Fred Amata Even If He Is With another Woman says His ex-wife

.
Ex-wife of Nollywood’s big boy Fred Amata, Ibinabo Fiberesima, has expressed her level of total submissiveness for her ex-husband wherever they find themselves.

In a recent interview, the Actors Guild of Nigeria’s Boss, stated that it is immature for her to see Fred anywhere and ignore him. Adding that it was uncalled for.

‘I can never ignore Fred. Even if he is with another woman, I will go and graze him. I will never disrespect him. Even if I am with a man, I must always walk up to him and greet him,’ she added.

Wife of Popular Actor Emeka Ike Finally Dumps Him

.
After years of enduring his regular battering, wife of Nollywood actor, Emeka Ike finally dumps him. Emeka Ike has now taken  two of the kids with him to Abuja, leaving the other two with his wife in Lagos.
The source also said “To say she and her two kids are going through hell is an understatement. I am pained that he would subject her to such a degrading level of existence and go free. There have been allegations also that there is a lot of spousal abuse going on but I cannot out-rightly say that because the woman has not come out herself to cry out. It is a pity that some men are babies and use children as scape goats to carry out revenge against their spouses!”

Obesere rape saga: Case transferred to SCID

LAGOS — There were indications, yesterday, that the case involving popular Fuji musician, Alhaji Abass Akande, also known as Obesere, arrested for allegedly raping a 29-year-old business woman, Miss Olanike Olaiya, in his Okota residence may have been  transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID.
·
Sources told Vanguard, yesterday, that the embattled musician preferred the SCID to the  Isolo Police division because the DPO had insisted on the matter going to court.
·
Normally, it is  the Divisional Police Officer at Isolo Division, Aminu Ibrahim, that should have ordered the transfer of the case to SCID for further investigations.
·
But Obesere was alleged to have used his contacts in the police to have the case transferred to SCID.

·
A police source also disclosed that Obesere found it difficult to pressurize the DPO at Isolo into striking out the matter or persuade the victim to accept a settlement.
·
The source, who craved anonymity, also said Obesere contacted some top citizens to wade into the matter by persuading the DPO to soft-pedal on the  matter but they backed down when they discovered that the police have incriminating evidence against the musician.
·
Victim relocates to Sagamu for treatment
·
Meantime, the victim, Olaiya, told Vanguard yesterday that she had relocated to her home town, Sagamu in Ogun State, where she is currently receiving treatment for the rape incident.
·
Olaiya, who spoke with Vanguard on the telephone, said: “As I speak with you, I am in Sagamu, my home town, where I have been  receiving traditional treatment since the incident occurred.
·
I bled for more than two weeks —Victim
·
“I bled for more than two weeks after Alhaji Obesere raped me and inserted his ring into my private part. The incident occurred on February 12, 2013 and I have spent a lot of money treating myself.
·
“The DPO, Isolo Police division, took pity on me and refused to give in to Obesere’s pressure to  strike out the case and God will bless him for that.
·
“But last week I was informed that the case had been transferred to the SCID and my Investigating Police Office, IPO, at Isolo asked me to come to the station on Tuesday for the transfer.
·
“But when I got to the SCID, I discovered the IPO, who took over the case, one Mr. Jacob, I don’t know his rank, became hostile to me.
·
“You need to see how this man treated me. He started by asking me to write a new statement and when I tried to explain that I had written a statement at Isolo division, he rebuffed my explanation and insisted I wrote a new one.
·
They threatened to kill me
·
“Afterwards, they started threatening me. The IPO, Alhaji Obesere, and some of his brothers, who were present there, asked me to stop the journalists from publishing my story and if I don’t, I will be a dead person.
·
“I was so frightened when they said this and each time my phone rang someone would pick it up to know who was calling.
·
“Later, they discovered  I wasn’t going to break, then they started begging me and promised to take care of me. Alhaji Obesere even said he was going to take me to the best hospital for treatment.
·
“At the end, I rose to leave and they offered to drop me in my place. The IPO also insisted that I should follow them. Instead of taking me to my area, they took me to Obesere’s house and the woman who introduced me to him was also there.
·
“While I was with them I alerted the police at Isolo and told them where I was.
·
“But yesterday, they called after they saw the publication and started threatening again to kill me.
·
“I am highly terrified, that was why I travelled back  to my home to get some treatment.”

More about Endometriosis
The endometriosis pain felt by these women cannot be described but through their words, we get a sneak peek into their lives:

•“A knife stabbing my ovaries.”
•“Like someone shredded my insides and is pouring lemon juice over the open wounds and taking sand paper over them at the same time on top of cramps.”
•“My insides feel like they are on fire and the pain is so bad I pass out from the pain!!
•“Words can’t explain the true suffering we feel. Bottom line.”

Endometriosis is a fairly unknown illness but common and one of the most common gynaecologic problem. This is a chronic disease where tissues that are normally found lining the womb (uterus) is found elsewhere in the body. These tissues form lesions which are most often found on the ovaries and other organs within a woman’s pelvis and causes bleeding in their respective locations outside the womb. This causes inflammation and the formation of scar tissues, leading to severe pain or even infertility.

Obesere arrested for alleged rape

.

LAGOS — Popular Fuji musician,  Alhaji Abass Akande, popularly known as Obesere, has been arrested  by the Police in Lagos State for allegedly raping a 29-year-old business woman, Miss Olanike Olaiya in his Okota residence, Lagos.
·
The victim, who took the matter to the Police, also narrated her ordeal in the hands of the musician whose shows generally fascinate society women.
*Obesere
According to Olaiya, a  National Diploma graduate of business administration from Ibadan Polytechnic, “I got to know  Obesere through one of my friends, Mrs Bola Okoro. She told me that Obesere would assist me in my business.
·
“I deal in office equipment and when I contacted Obesere, he asked me to meet him in his family house at Okota.  When I  met him, I  introduced my business to him and he promised to connect me to some of his friends in Dubai who would sell  goods to me on credit.
·
“After the discussion, he started demanding for sex and I refused and when I wanted to leave, he insisted I should sleep over in his house because it was late and he claimed that it was dangerous to go out late in the night in his area.
·
“I thought he was a responsible man and I decided to sleep over, but at the dead of the night, he came into the room where I slept and pounced on me.
·
“He raped me and afterwards inserted a ring he wore into my  private part  and I started bleeding. He hurriedly  left me in the room saying he had an appointment to fulfil.
·
“I could not bear the trauma and the bleeding and I reported the matter  to the police.”
·
Vanguard gathered that Obesere was first arrested last Wednesday by the Police at Isolo Police Division, where Olaiya reported the matter. He was subsequently released on administrative bail.
·
He  was later re-arrested on Monday, when medical examination conducted on Olaiya revealed that she was actually raped and the Divisional Police Officer, Isolo,  Adamu Ibrahim, was said to have ordered the transfer of the matter to State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Panti, Yaba, for further investigation.
·
Sources disclosed that Obesere’s arrest was made possible through a warrant of arrest issued by the Chief Magistrate of Isolo Magistrate Court, Mrs Kike Bukola Ayeye, as he had declined to honour several police invitations sent to his  house at Johnson Famiye Street, Canal Estate, Ago, Okota.
·
We are lovers — Obesere
·
Police sources also said Obesere in his statement denied ever raping Olaiya, rather he claimed she was his lover and they made love when she visited him.
·
The source added that Obesere claimed he asked her to go to a private hospital for treatment when she complained that she was bleeding, but he was surprised when she reported to the police that she was raped.
